Commission Build
Have you ever spent hours and hours searching for a camper that's just right for you but never quite hit the mark? A commission build from Rework Engineering could be the solution for you. By allowing you to detail exactly what it is you're looking for we can put a proposal together to create your perfect fit.
1. Consultation
The process begins with a consultation. We would always invite you to come and see a finished example in the flesh to give you the best idea of where to start planning your build. We go through the whole vehicle with you to find your perfect specification for the base chassis, the interior, exterior and any other ideas you have. From this we can put together an initial proposal and indicative price.
2. Vehicle Sourcing
Our consultation with you will let us know the ideal chassis to base your conversion on, once we have found a suitable candidate we present it to you for your approval.
3. Deposit
At this stage once you have approved the base chassis and agreement is reached on the final price we ask for a 20% deposit to start the build, we will only request a deposit once we are ready to start your build. Depending on the length of the waiting list at the time we may ask for a fully refundable reservation deposit of £500 prior to this to hold your place in the queue.
4. The build
Once the 20% deposit has been taken we will begin your build, depending on your exact specifications the build time is usually 4 to 6 weeks. When the build has been completed we will issue a final invoice for the remaining amount and arrange collection of your new camper!
